Kansas Elite Player Anna Bucher recently signed her letter of intent to play at at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Anna played with Elite her senior yr and played school ball for Metro Academy of KC. Anna is well know for her enthusiasm, aggressive defense and leadership on and off the court. Anna will be missed at Elite but we wish her the best of luck at Hannibal. Kansas Elite HS Girls traveled to Kearney Nebraska to the 2011 Miss Basketball Showcase Event July 13th. Elite went 3-5 in the tournament with three players placing high in scoring stats. Caley Shaffstall finished first in "Most 3 pointers made" hitting 30 nearly breaking the record of 34 set by Laurie Koehn in 1999.
